Reliable choice for device management

This wasn't my first time using Miradore. We've been with them for a couple of years now, managing our fleet of Windows 10 and Android devices. I originally went with them for the free tier to try it out, then upgraded to Premium. The service has been consistently reliable. I really appreciate the ease of their Application Management, and it just works every time. It's why I keep renewing our annual subscription; it saves us a bit compared to monthly, and it's one less thing to worry about.

Decent value, room to improve

I opted for Miradore to handle our macOS and Windows 11 devices. The Device Enrollment process was fairly straightforward, and the pricing seemed reasonable, especially with the annual billing discount. I found the Patch Management to be effective, keeping our systems updated without much manual intervention. However, I did notice the reporting features, specifically for Compliance Reporting, could be a bit more robust; sometimes it felt like I had to dig a bit to get the exact data I needed. Overall, it's a solid platform for IT Asset Management, but a clearer reporting dashboard would make it even better.

Worked fine for our team

So, we needed something to manage our work iPhones and some Android tablets for a small team. I signed up for the free trial of the Premium features, mainly for the iOS Management and setting up some basic security policies. It wasn't too hard to figure out. I got all our devices enrolled without much fuss. The dashboard felt pretty intuitive. It just seemed to work well, and no one complained about their devices or anything, which is always a good sign. It felt like a solid platform for what we needed.

Good for basic MDM

I used Miradore for basic Android MDM. Setup was quick. Managed our company phones easily enough. Remote Lock and Wipe feature worked when needed. Interface is clean. Got the job done for us.

Is Miradore good for non-profits? Wondering if there's any special pricing or discounts for organizations like ours.

D Daisy N. 2 months ago
I'm pretty sure I saw something about non-profit discounts when I was signing up, you'd probably have to contact them directly for details.

yeah, they definitely have non-profit pricing. It's not something you just click on the website though, you gotta reach out to their sales team.

Thinking of switching our small business over to Miradore for device management. Anyone using it for a mix of Android and iOS devices? How well does it handle both?

P Priya K. 1 month ago
Yeah, we've got both Androids and iPhones running on it. Works pretty seamlessly for the basics, enrollment and app management, etc. Never had an issue with it.

It's decent for mixed environments. Definitely supports both, like, that's their whole thing. I think the iOS stuff might be a bit more robust if you're deep into the Apple ecosystem, but Android works fine too.

Does Miradore actually offer a free version or is it just one of those 'free trial then pay up' things? Need something basic for like 5 devices.

A Alex Bennett 2 months ago
They do have a genuinely free version, it's not just a trial. It's pretty basic but fine for a few devices if you just need essential stuff.

yep, free tier is legit. used it for ages before upgrading to get more features. doesn't expire.

I'm thinking of trying out Miradore for my MSP clients. Is there any special program or pricing for managed service providers?

W Wendy M. 1 month ago
They have a whole partner program for MSPs. You get different pricing and dedicated support channels, worth looking into.

Yeah, they got an MSP thing. I'd hit up their sales folks directly, probably a better deal than just signing up as a regular business.

How does Miradore compare to Microsoft Intune? We're currently on Intune but it's a bit clunky for our needs.

F Faith Kim 1 month ago
Miradore is way simpler to get going, especially for smaller setups. Intune has a lot more features but also a lot more complexity. Depends on your IT team's skill level honestly.

Intune is overkill for most companies unless you're like enterprise level. Miradore is more user-friendly and less of a headache to manage day-to-day, in my experience.

Looking at the premium features but the monthly cost seems a bit high. Do they do annual billing with a discount or anything?

M Mia Kim 2 months ago
Oh yeah, always go annual if you can. It's usually like a 15-20% saving compared to paying monthly.

B Brett 2 months ago
Definitely. Annual subscription is cheaper. I think most SaaS companies do that, but Miradore's discount is pretty good.
